Changing bed linen supplier is expensive if it goes wrong: sheets that shrink and no longer fit, a replacement order that does not match what you already have in the rooms, or an order that does not arrive before the season. These eight questions help you compare suppliers using criteria that can be checked.
1. What fabric and what thread count?
Ask for the exact figures: composition (100 % cotton or a blend) and thread count. Our hospitality sheets are offered in 144 and 200 threads, in Eco 50/50 blend, in Basic 100 % cotton and in poplin.
2. Which sizes are standard?
Check that they cover all your beds without special orders. Our fitted sheet ranges from 90 × 200 to 200 × 200 cm and fits mattresses up to 24 cm deep (± 1 cm). If you are not sure which size to order, see which sheet size goes with which bed.
3. Do the products have certificates?
Ask which certifications each item has and request the document. Our Basic line is 100 % cotton with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification.
4. Does it withstand industrial washing?
Ask for the maximum washing temperature and whether the fabric is made for industrial laundering. A sheet that is not loses its shape and colour within a few seasons.
5. Will the replacement be identical?

This is the question most often forgotten. If in a year's time you order more sheets, they must be the same as the ones you already have: the same white, the same feel, the same size. We explain this in how to ensure an identical replacement.
6. Can I see a sample first?

A serious supplier lets you touch the fabric before you order. You can request your sample with no obligation.
7. How long does it take and how much does shipping cost?
Ask for the lead time in writing. In our case, items in stock are dispatched in 3–5 days, shipping is free from €100 and costs €5.99 below that.
8. Can it cover all the bed textiles?
A single supplier for sheets, covers, fillings, blankets and mattress protection simplifies purchasing, invoicing and replacement. See all our bed linen for hotels.
How to compare the answers
Put the eight questions in a table and ask each supplier to answer in writing. Compare with the sample in your hand, not with the photo. For large volumes or recurring supply, request a quote.
In summary
Choose a supplier on verifiable data: fabric and thread count, sizes, certificates, resistance to washing, identical replacement, a sample beforehand, lead times in writing and the capacity to cover the whole bed.
